Dear parents
Hope everyone had some rest this past weekend and spent some time with the kids. Many children around the country are on holiday, meaning yet again you will have kids at home, twiddling their thumbs when they are not invading the fridge.
Not being in the classroom should not mean that no learning takes place. As parents, we all have a role to play in your children's learning experience.
Keep them entertained with fun educational games such as scrabble, 30 seconds and who wants to be a millionaire. Board games can be both fun and stimulating. For the younger children, school holidays don't mean that the reading stops. Ask them to read to you every night, that way they get practice and keep their minds stimulated.
Don't forget that a healthy body means a healthy mind, do give them some chores around the house to keep those bodies working and achieving desired results around the house.
If you have any exciting holiday activities please share them with us by simply commenting on this post.
